Separator Maintenance

MAINTENANCE

  • To get optimum utility there must be a suitable connection that fits to the inlet and outlet piping.
  • Cut the air supply and discharge remaining air.
  • Control the separator height with respect to the annotations set forward in the catalogue.
  • The separator must always be mounted in a vertical position.
  • IMPORTANT: PAY ATTENTION TO THE ARROW WHICH SHOWS AIR FLOW DIRECTION ON THE LABEL OF HOUSING
  • Clean the lubricate the threads of body before installation.
  • Replace the automatic drain and O-rings if necessary.
  • Check the Filter body making sure that it is correctly fastened.
  • Connect the system to the air supply and check the parts under pressure.

REPLACING DRAIN

For replacing drain, first cut the air supply (Pic.1)

IMPORTANT: Pay attention to the arrow which shows air flow direction on the label of housing.

1- Open the bottom plastic cap of separator

2- Disassemble the nut under the cap with a wrench.

3- Take apart the old drain and replace with new one

Discharge remaning air by loosening the nut on the bottom of the filter using a wrench. (Pic.2) After replacing gently tighten the drain relief valve.

1- Open the bottom plastic cap of seperator

2- Disassemble the nut under the cap with a wrench.

3- Take apart the old drain and replace with new one

Turn the bowl of the filter clockwise to take it apart from the head. (Pic.3)

Separator Maintenance

Assemble the filter bowl to the filter head by turning it counterclockwise after replacing. (Pic.4)

Separator Maintenance

Connect the system to air supply to check for any leakages. Do not forget to tighten the drain relief valve.
