Air Filter Maintenance

MAINTENANCE

  • To get optimum utility there must be a suitable connection that fits to the inlet and outlet piping.
  • Cut the air supply and discharge remaining air.
  • Control the Filter height with respect to the annotations set forward in the catalogue.
  • The Filters must always be mounted in a vertical position.
  • Pay attention to the arrow which shows air flow direction on the label of housing.
  • Check the Filter body making sure that it is correctly fastened.
  • Connect the system to the air supply and check the parts under pressure.

Instruction Manual

FIRST INSTALLATION

  • Filter elements must be replaced when the differential pressure indicator level increases. Nevertheless, element should be replaced once a year.
  • Cut the air supply and discharge remaining air.
  • Pull out the body of housing by turning clockwise.
  • Take out the dirty element by turning the handle clockwise
  • Place the new element on to the housing bowl head, Pinecessary/ling provided in the housing
  • Clean and lubricate the threads of body before installation.
  • Connect the system to air supply to check for any leakages.

Turn the bowl of the filter clockwise to take it apart from the head. (Pic.3)

To replace the dirty element, first turn handle clockwise on the element and take out it from the bowl. (Pic.4)

Gently tighten the drain relief valve by using a wrench. (Pic.8)

REPLACING ELEMENT

Cut the air supply (Pic.1) and discharge remaining air by loosening the drain on the bottom of the Filter using a wrench (Pic.2)

Turn the bowl of the filter clockwise to take it apart from the head. (Pic.3)

To replace the dirty element, first turn handle clockwise on the element and take out it from the bowl. (Pic.4)

Take out the dirty element (Pic. 5) Place the new one in to the bowl (Pic.6)

Assemble the Filter bowl to the Filter head by turning it counterclockwise. (Pic.7)
